In addition, IPG have extended their APO interface to send configuration settings for tests and experiments direct to rFpro so that, for example, any changes to the weather made in CarMaker are sent directly to rFpro. “We are delighted to have been selected by IPG as their partner and see this as a significant endorsement from a major industry player,” said rFpro’s Technical Director, Chris Hoyle. “There is a natural synergy between our companies because rFpro does not produce the sensor models, just the data feed. IPG’s customers can now test the entire tool-chain virtually, which will significantly reduce development time and cost.”
